StoreSpace retail planning software sponsors 2022 RTIH Innovation Awards

StoreSpace software, from retail planning specialists CADS, is sponsoring a major category at RTIH’s annual retail technology innovation awards.

The event celebrates trailblazing retail technology across the globe. Honouring both rising startups and retail giants across 17 categories, it shines a spotlight on the best in the industry.

“We’re delighted to sponsor the Bricks and Mortar category at these industry awards which mark the technological achievements of many leading retailers. We’re particularly honoured to sponsor the category which recognises the potential of technology in physical retail spaces,” says Guy Moates, Director at CADS.

The Bricks and Mortar Innovation Award will be presented to a retailer which uses technology to enable physical stores to thrive, despite challenges posed by the increase of online shopping.

“Physical shops still play such an important part in retail success. As leaders in the retail space planning industry, we’re always interested in new ways to optimise physical stores. We were greatly impressed by last years’ winners and are anticipating many new innovations to be unveiled this year,” Moates comments.

The 2021 award winner was Europe’s largest unmanned grocery store, Lifvs. Their innovative unstaffed shops are run via an app using technology from Pricer’s Plaza platform.

This year, the judges are looking for retailers which reduce friction in the customer journey by offering improved shopping experiences.

The deadline for entries is 4th November with winners announced at a glittering industry event in London during December.

The RTIH Innovation Awards were launched in 2019 with successful events held the following years. This year, the awards are expanding further with three new categories, a printed magazine, and an even bigger in-person event

“We’re really looking forward to the awards. It will be great to connect with industry peers and celebrate wins with our clients. We wish all the nominees the best of luck!” concludes Moates.
