Gopuff implements GoStock Equity Programme in UK

Rapid delivery firm Gopuff reports that its GoStock Equity Programme is currently rolling out in the UK.

Details of the initiative were shared via an internal memo issued last week – an excerpt of which is as follows:

“As part of our commitment to the UK market, we believe it’s essential that all Gopuff employees share in the ownership of the business.”

“With that, we are implementing the GoStock Equity Programme in the UK. With this new programme, our eligible frontline employees and workers will receive equity and an ownership stake of the company.

Approximately 1,400 employees and workers will receive equity and an ownership stake of the company.

Gopuff says that the move is “a direct acknowledgement of our continued efforts and underscores our commitment to the UK, a priority market which has experienced significant growth (revenue increasing at a 30% compound monthly rate and x10 order growth since launch).”

Patrick Bigatel

Patrick Bigatel recently joined Gopuff as Vice President of Grocery.

He was previously Vice President Of New Business Development at Booster.

Prior to that, he spent almost 15 years at Amazon, holding such positions as General Manager, Amazon Heavy-Bulky, Home Services and Local Selling.

In a LinkedIn post, Bigatel said: “Throughout my career, I have worked on and studied transformative retail disruptions that benefit customers, and GoPuff embodies this retail disruptor mentality.”

“The focus on customer first innovations and technologies, underpinned by a unique vertically integrated supply chain, has benefits extending throughout the company down to the experience our customers receive with every order.”

He added: “I will be meeting some of the team in Philadelphia this week. I look forward to working with old colleagues and meeting new teammates.”
