CPTO Richard Zubrik says farewell to Not On The High Street

Richard Zubrik has departed Not On The High Street where he served as Chief Product & Technology Officer.

Zubrik joined the online marketplace in 2019 as CTO, and became CPTO in 2020.

Prior to that, he held the role of Director of Technology - E-commerce at Asos.

In a LinkedIn post, he said: “It's been an amazing nearly four years and a great time to be part of the business.”

“A lot has happened in those years. I was hired by Barrie Seidenberg who was the driving force behind the changes we started making and I'm sure me and many others will always remember her.”

“We've continued the journey to become a more digital, product led business with (former CEO) Claire Davenport. We've then gone through Covid, sale of the business to Great Hill Partners and with their support a new strategy and a fresh new brand.”

He added: “I’m really proud of what all the teams have achieved but naturally really proud of Tech@NOTHS for moving the majority of the platform from the old monolith to modern services as well as moving the whole front end to a modern new architecture. Amazing job!”

“I’m equally proud of Product@NOTHS, product management and product design working together and with the tech team to make a real difference to customers and partners. You only have to look at the site we had few years back and the one today to see how much was done and a difference it makes.”

“And I can't forget Data@NOTHS. data engineering, analytics engineering and data analysts have all together transformed the availability, quality and most importantly usage of data across the business allowing Product&Tech but also other teams to make good, data driven decisions.”

Zubrik is now taking on the CPTO role at Ambassador Theatre Group

Claire Davenport

Earlier this month, Not On The High Street named Chief Commercial Officer Leanne Rothwell as its new CEO as Claire Davenport stepped down after three years in charge.

Rothwell said: “Not On The High Street has been a huge part of my life for the last ten years and I’m honoured to move into the CEO role.”

“Our new brand, launching today, and extensive selection will continue to broaden our appeal, attracting a wider audience to our vibrant and passionate community of partners.”

Davenport commented: “It’s been a privilege to lead such a unique brand over the past three years. I’ve been humbled by the many small businesses who rely on our marketplace for growth and watched in awe as some have evolved from fledgling ideas to multi-million pound entities.”

“I leave the company with an exciting new chapter ahead and I’m delighted to see Leanne take the helm and continue to drive the business forward.”
