Forter appoints Eran Vanounou as Chief Technology Officer 

Digital commerce specialist, Forter, has announced the appointment of Eran Vanounou as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Vanounou brings over 25 years of technical development, analytics and enterprise software experience to the company.

Prior to this role, he served as CEO at Varada, a Big Data analytics startup, where he led the company to its acquisition by Starburst.

Before that, he served as LivePerson’s CTO. He has also led product and engineering teams at companies such as Sun Microsystems, Oracle and NICE Systems.

Vanounou will take the place of former CTO Iftah Gideoni, who is retiring.
