On-demand logistics firm Stuart announces appointment of Cornelia Raportaru as CEO

Cornelia Raportaru has been appointed Chief Executive Officer at Stuart.

She succeeds Damien Bon, who joined the on-demand delivery platform in 2015 and became CEO in 2017 under the ownership of Geopost.

Raportaru will report to Cédric Favre-Lorraine, Geopost’s Regional CEO for France & Benelux.

Favre-Lorraine says: “As a CEO, Damien has been a key contributor to our development from a startup into a key player in its market. It has been a pleasure working with him, and his professional and personal qualities have been highly valued throughout his time at the company.”

“I wish him a lot of success in his future endeavours. I am happy that Cornelia has accepted the appointment to replace Damien, and I am confident that she will pursue the outstanding work achieved with leadership and customer centricity in Stuart’s markets in Europe.”

Raportaru joined Stuart in February 2022 as Executive Vice President of International, in charge of activities in Spain, Portugal, Italy and Poland.

She then took the additional responsibility of the firm’s Global Operations centre of expertise.

“I am very proud and honoured to be part of Stuart as we continue to empower local commerce in Europe with tech enabled precise delivery solutions. This represents a challenge that I am taking with great responsibility, while knowing that I am surrounded by a remarkable team,” she says.

Prior to Stuart, Raportaru was Managing Director at TaskRabbit Europe, expanding the marketplace to over 150 cities.

She also previously held management roles with Twitter, Vodafone, Cadbury and AIESEC International.

Bon, meanwhile, has decided to embrace a new career opportunity. He will continue to be an advisor to Stuart.
