Purr-fect retail technology roll-out: AllPondSolutions, AllPetSolutions team with Inventory Planner
AllPondSolutions and its sister brand AllPetSolutions have deployed Inventory Planner by Sage technology.
This gives them access to a demand forecasting app which reveals exactly which inventory to order and when, based on an accurate calculation of how much a merchant will sell which factors in supplier timescales, seasonality and promotions, alongside historical sales data.
Founded in 2006, AllPondSolutions, is a UK-based pond and aquatic supplier.
AllPetSolutions strives to be the only place on the internet that pet owners need for supplies, offering food, accessories and equipment for dogs, cats, fish, birds and wildlife.
The brands selected Inventory Planner after becoming increasingly frustrated with their previous forecasting tool, Orderwise, which had become clunky, time consuming and expensive.
They needed a scalable, retail focussed solution which could connect seamlessly to Amazon, eBay, Magento and Shopify and handle omnichannel fulfilment.
Inventory Planner ticked all the boxes, including offering accurate forecasting that adjusts for seasonality and eliminates overstock and stockouts.
The brands can now access detailed, customisable reporting, including reliable replenishment recommendations, and automated PO creation that will simplify and streamline their ordering processes and make excess stock a thing of the past.
