Retail veteran Julian Burnett takes on CEO role at UK-based supply chain specialist Visku
Julian Burnett has been appointed CEO at Visku, a supply chain consultancy and warehousing solutions specialist.
In a LinkedIn post, he said: “I’m really pleased to share that I've started a new role as CEO at Visku, leading our transformation and growth.”
Burnett’s CV includes stints at IBM (where he served as VP, Global Markets - Distribution Sector (Retail, FMCG, CPG, Travel & Transport).
He has also spent several years on the retailer side of things, holding the position of Chief Technology Officer at Sainsbury’s, Chief Technology Officer - Head of IT Strategy, Architecture & Business Process at John Lewis, and Chief Information Officer & Executive Director, Supply Chain & Business Transformation at House of Fraser.
2023 RTIH Innovation Awards
DPD UK emerged victorious in the Supply Chain Innovation category at the 2023 RTIH Innovation Awards.

The 2023 RTIH Innovation Awards winners were revealed at a fantastic awards ceremony, which took place at the Barbican Centre in central London.
The event was held on Wednesday, 29th November, maintaining its popular evening format, with a drinks reception in the stunning Conservatory, followed by a Christmas themed three course meal, and awards ceremony in the Garden Room.
