Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all at Retail Technology Innovation Hub

As 2025 draws to a close, we want to take this chance to wish you all a happy Christmas and a prosperous 2026.

We hope the year has been good to you. We’re pleased to say that Retail Technology Innovation Hub had a very busy and successful 2025, with highlights including the 2025 RTIH Innovation Awards.

VoCoVo, Everseen, Sensei, Gander, Iceland, Olio, Trust Retail, East of England Co-op, Lekkerland SE, Poq, Mamas & Papas, Varner, Sitoo, and Zebra Technologies were among our winners this year.

We received a record number of entries and many fantastic examples of the continued resilience and dynamism of the retail space during hugely challenging times.

Our 2025 hall of fame entrants were revealed during a sold out event which took place at The HAC in Central London on Thursday, 16th October and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson.

Congratulations to our 2025 winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Tiff Stevenson, and all those who attended our October gathering.

Also in 2025

2025 also saw us significantly grow our social media presence (particularly on LinkedIn where our page is fast approaching 30,000 followers) and boost our website visitor numbers and printed magazine subscribers, strengthening our position as the leading UK-based title for the global omnichannel retail technology community. 

Our sister title, EdTech Innovation Hub, is also going from strength to strength, with the last 12 months seeing the launch of its first ever awards event and printed magazine.

Not bad for a bootstrapped startup that launched just eight years ago!

Onwards and upwards

We’ve got big plans for 2026, including an expanded 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards (more on that early next year), and the launch of the RTIH AI in Retail Awards.

We recently announced the finalists and shortlists for the inaugural awards, sponsored by VenHub Global, 3D Cloud, EdTech Innovation Hub, and Retail Technology Show.

It’s now over to our judging panel who will decide the winners to be announced at the RTIH AI in Retail Awards Ceremony, taking place at The Barbican in Central London on Thursday, 29th January.

This will kick off with a drinks reception in the stunning Conservatory, followed by a three course meal, and awards ceremony in the Garden Room.
