Torg co-founder Rita Kerbaj takes on Chief of Staff role at online grocery firm Rohlik Group
Rita Kerbaj has joined European e-grocery specialist Rohlik Group as Chief of Staff. She was previously Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Torg, an AI sourcing platform where retail and wholesale buyers find and connect with food and beverage manufacturers.
In a LinkedIn post, she said: “After more than a decade leading marketplaces, most recently building Torg, where I saw first hand how hard tech adoption can be for retailers, I was looking for three things in my next chapter: a founder with conviction, ambition, and pace; a product customers truly love; a business re-defining its category.”
She added: “With Tomáš Čupr and Rohlik Group, I found all three. Rohlik is Europe's most customer centric, AI first retailer. It's one of the rare scale-ups that's still a fast paced startup at its core, where ambition is consistently matched by execution. I’m excited to work closely with Tom and the leadership team, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to scale Europe’s e-grocery leader, as it continues to redefine convenience through technology.”
RTIH AI in Retail Awards
RTIH proudly presents the first edition of its AI in Retail Awards, sponsored by VenHub Global, 3D Cloud and EdTech Innovation Hub.
As we witness a digital transformation revolution across all channels, AI tools are reshaping the omnichannel game, from personalising customer experiences to optimising inventory, uncovering insights into consumer behaviour, and enhancing the human element of retailers' businesses.
With 2026 set to be the year when AI and especially gen AI shake off the ‘heavily hyped’ tag and become embedded in retail business processes, our newly launched awards celebrate global technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world and the resulting benefits for retailers, shoppers and employees.
Our 2026 winners will be those companies who not only recognise the potential of AI, but also make it usable in everyday work - resulting in more efficiency and innovation in all areas.
Winners will be announced at an evening event at The Barbican in Central London on Thursday, 29th January. This will kick off with a drinks reception in the stunning Conservatory, followed by a three course meal, and awards ceremony in the Garden Room.
