Focus on flexible payment options for e-commerce merchants as Ecommpay adds Klarna to its platform

Payments platform, Ecommpay, has added buy now pay later big hitter, Klarna, to its line up. “Flexible payment options are fundamental to a strong checkout experience for e-commerce merchants and Klarna has been a popular choice for consumers and businesses,” says Roman Tazetdinov, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Ecommpay. “Used by millions of shoppers every month, we are confident adding Klarna to the Ecommpay payment platform will deliver real conversion gains for our merchants.”

"Shoppers today expect to pay their way: no faff, no friction, no nasty surprises," says Klarna Country Manager UK & Ireland Marc O'Fathaigh. "Ecommpay is a natural fit: we both believe good ways to pay should be available to everyone. Through a single integration, this partnership puts Klarna in front of merchants worldwide, expanding our reach and giving millions of shoppers more control over their money."

Covering retail, travel and hospitality, FinTech, mobility, digital goods and insurance, Ecommpay merchants gain access to Klarna’s payment options including Pay in Full, Pay in 3 and Pay in 4 instalments, Pay in 30 days, and longer-term financing, via one integration with no extra technical work or third-party systems needed.

“We know that many shoppers actively look for Klarna at checkout,” adds Tazetdinov. “Adding it to the Ecommpay payment platform gives merchants access to a large and engaged market, reducing hesitation at the point of purchase and giving customers another payment option at checkout. And it can be added to a merchant’s wider payment set-up in a single integration, eliminating unnecessary operational overhead.”
