Tesco Media ramps up advertising capabilities push through new technology partnership with Kevel
Tesco Media has announced a new partnership with ad infrastructure provider Kevel. Kevel’s technology powers Tesco Media Ad Manager, a new client facing platform designed to make planning, booking, measuring and optimising media simpler, more connected and more useful for brands. It will play a central role in helping Tesco Media to develop new advertising formats and capabilities across its digital channels.
Stacy Gratz, Revenue and Growth Director at Tesco Media, says: “Retail media works best when it creates value for customers as well as advertisers. This partnership gives us greater flexibility to build advertising experiences around how our customers actually shop, while making it easier for brands to use Tesco’s scale and customer insights effectively. Kevel’s technology will help us move faster, develop new capabilities and continue evolving Tesco Media around the needs of our advertisers and customers.”
James Avery, Founder and CEO at Kevel, says: “Tesco has a clear vision for the role retail media can play for both its customers and advertising partners. We’re proud that Kevel’s technology will support Tesco Media as it builds the next generation of its advertising proposition, giving its team the flexibility to innovate and develop new experiences at scale.”
Kevel’s technology is being introduced across Tesco Media in phases, with the first advertising placements now live and further capabilities planned across Tesco’s digital ecosystem.
