Two independent convenience retailers say their Just Eat business has grown around fivefold since they stopped updating marketplace listings by hand, as the number of indies using Snappy Technologies’ Order Aggregation (OA) platform passes 100.
OA brings orders from Just Eat, Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Foodhub and Snappy Shopper onto one device and sends price, promotion and stock changes to every platform at once.
Independent users trade under fascias including Premier, Morrisons Daily, Keystore, Costcutter, Nisa and Londis. Across independents and retail groups, including East of England Co-op and Southern Co-op, OA has now processed more than half a million orders, with over 300 stores currently trading on the platform.
At the independently owned Morrisons Daily Whitehills in Northampton, owner Alex Kapadia says Just Eat sales have risen from around £300 a week to a typical £1,500 to £1,600 since he connected his EPoS through OA in December 2025. His best week reached nearly £2,500.
Kapadia had been selling on Just Eat and Deliveroo for around two years but keeping 4,000 products up to date on both took his team 10 to 15 hours a week.
“Trying to update that every week was just a never-ending task,” says Kapadia. “We were often never quite getting all of it updated. Also, our promotions never showed up on those platforms.”
Now that his EPoS feeds the marketplaces directly, customers can no longer order items that have sold out. Kapadia puts the growth down to accuracy rather than extra marketing: “All of our prices are correct, our promotions are correct and our stock levels are correct as well,” he says.
“We think that the big increase has just come from accuracy. Our customer satisfaction is way, way higher. We’re getting far more repeat orders now than we ever used to.”
The store has since relaunched on Deliveroo and is taking around £600 to £700 a week on the platform.
Faz Latif, owner of Premier One Stop Shop in Methil, Fife, had a similar experience. “We had Just Eat but it was kind of left to the side because it was so time consuming to add products and change the menu. If an order came through, great,” says Latif.
“Before OA, we had to go into Just Eat and Deliveroo separately to change a price or hide a product. Now we make the change through Snappy and it updates across the platforms.”
Latif, who uses OA without an EPoS integration, estimates it saves at least 14 hours a week across Snappy Shopper, Just Eat and Deliveroo. He says listing more products and keeping the menu up to date has taken Just Eat orders from three or four a day to close to 20.
Dan Calvert, Chief Growth Officer at Snappy Group, says: “Every marketplace an independent join brings another product list to keep up to date. For a store with thousands of lines, that’s a lot of work, so listings get left half-finished and customers stop ordering when what they want isn’t there."
“Alex and Faz were already on Just Eat and Deliveroo. Once the updates started looking after themselves, their sales on those apps grew. We’ll keep adding channels and automation, but joining a new marketplace shouldn’t mean more work in the shop."
“Both are part of our first 100 independents, our pioneers, and their adoption of this technology is a signal of where quick commerce is heading. Reaching this milestone is exciting, yet it feels much more like the start of the journey for Snappy Technologies’ Order Aggregation than the destination.”
