drop2shop boosts choice for Vinted buyers and sellers with launch of new parcel service in Ireland
drop2shop, an Irish parcel collections and returns services, has announced a new partnership with European fashion marketplace Vinted, expanding delivery choices for customers across the Republic of Ireland.
Under the partnership, customers buying and selling via Vinted can, for the first time, use drop2shop’s network to send and receive parcels throughout the Republic of Ireland, with the service initially launched in and around Dublin, followed by a national roll-out over the next six months.
Owned and operated by Coll‑8, a customs clearance and logistics specialist, drop2shop is set to invest €20 million over the next three years to expand its network, with services available at up to 1,200 locations nationwide by the end of September this year.
The announcement follows last year’s acquisition of Coll-8 by Evri, in a multi-million-pound deal designed to accelerate deliveries and returns for customers in the Republic of Ireland.
The latest partnership between Vinted and drop2shop builds on Evri’s existing relationship with the marketplace platform.
Dave Field, CEO at Coll-8, says: “We’re thrilled to partner with Vinted to bring our drop2shop services to those buying and selling on its platform. This marks an exciting year for our shop network, as we continue to expand our presence nationwide and provide customers across the Republic of Ireland with convenient, local delivery options.”
Vytautas Atkočaitis, VP Vinted Go, says: “By partnering with Coll-8’s growing shop‑to‑shop service, we’re strengthening our logistics network in the Republic of Ireland and making it easier for Vinted members to send and receive items.”
2026 RTIH Innovation Awards
Online delivery will be a key focus area at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards.
The awards are now open for entries and celebrate global retail technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.
Our winners will be revealed at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards Ceremony, taking place at The HAC in Central London on Wednesday, 4th November.
Check out our 2025 winners here.
Our 2025 hall of fame entrants were revealed during a sold out event which took place at The HAC on 16th October and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson.
In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “This is the awards’ fifth year as a physical event. We started off with just 30 people at the South Place Hotel not far from here, then moved to London Bridge Hotel, then The Barbican, and last year RIBA’s HQ in the West End.”
“But I’m conscious of the fact that, to quote the legend that is Taylor Swift, You’re only as hot as your last hit, baby. So, this year we’ve moved to our biggest venue yet, and also pulled in our largest number of entries to date and broken attendance records.”
He added: “This year’s submissions have without doubt been our best yet. To quote one of the judges: The examples of innovative developments across both traditional and digital retail spaces were truly remarkable.”
Congratulations to our winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Tiff Stevenson, and all those who attended our 2025 gathering.
