Vision AI specialist Everseen announces acquisition of Viztel retail technology from RadiusAI
Everseen, a specialist in Vision AI solutions for the retail industry, has acquired the Viztel technology portfolio from RadiusAI. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Everseen focuses on AI powered revenue recovery, helping retailers improve profitability through solutions including EverCheck, EverShelf and EverEagle. Viztel extends that offering across the entire store: from the moment a shopper walks in to where they move, what they engage with, how long they dwell, how queues form, and how they check out.
Viztel is a computer vision platform that turns existing camera infrastructure into business intelligence spanning customer- and product journey analytics, heat maps and dwell time, queue and occupancy analytics, inventory and freshness monitoring, and hazard and safety detection. It generates insight from anonymised data, with no facial recognition and no capture of personally identifiable information.
“Everseen became the market leader by helping retailers recover value at scale through Vision AI. With Viztel, we're extending that same proven intelligence beyond checkout to the entire store,” says Joe White, Chief Executive Officer at Everseen. “Bringing together customer and product journeys, store operations, workforce productivity, and revenue recovery on one AI platform makes us uniquely positioned to help retailers understand not just what's happening in their stores, but why, and act on it.”
“We built Viztel to give retailers a complete picture of everything that happens in their stores, and I'm delighted that this portfolio is moving to Everseen,” says Bobby Chowdary, Founder and CEO at RadiusAI, who is joining Everseen as part of the acquisition. “Everseen is exactly the right place to take this technology to the next level. Their expertise, platform, and scale mean Viztel will only get better from here.”
2026 RTIH Innovation Awards
AI will be a key focus area at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards.
The awards are now open for entries and celebrate global retail technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.
Our winners will be revealed at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards Ceremony, taking place at The HAC in Central London on Wednesday, 4th November.
Check out our 2025 winners here.
Our 2025 hall of fame entrants were revealed during a sold out event which took place at The HAC on 16th October and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson.
In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “This is the awards’ fifth year as a physical event. We started off with just 30 people at the South Place Hotel not far from here, then moved to London Bridge Hotel, then The Barbican, and last year RIBA’s HQ in the West End.”
“But I’m conscious of the fact that, to quote the legend that is Taylor Swift, You’re only as hot as your last hit, baby. So, this year we’ve moved to our biggest venue yet, and also pulled in our largest number of entries to date and broken attendance records.”
He added: “This year’s submissions have without doubt been our best yet. To quote one of the judges: The examples of innovative developments across both traditional and digital retail spaces were truly remarkable.”
Congratulations to our winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Tiff Stevenson, and all those who attended our 2025 gathering.
