Physical milestone for fast food chain Wingstop in UK and Ireland as company lands in Inverness, Scotland
Wingstop has opened its 100th site across the UK and Ireland. This is located in Inverness, Scotland. It aims to launch up to 30 sites across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland this year. The fast food chain recently revealed that new stores helped revenues surge by 73% to £216.4 million in 2025.
Chris Sherriff, Chief Executive at Wingstop UKI, said: “Customers increasingly seek out brands that offer a memorable experience, differentiated products and genuine value. To have achieved record results, despite the well reported headwinds facing the broader hospitality sector, is a fantastic achievement.”
In a LInkedIn post, Sheriff added: "I'm incredibly proud to have reached our 100th opening and even prouder of the 3,500+ team and partners who have made this journey possible - from construction, suppliers, events and everything in between. Every opening, every event and every contribution matters. Thank You to the entire team."
He added: "The journey doesn’t stop here.....we’re excited to welcome our new team in Poland as we continue to bring Flavour to new markets. I have so many fond memories over the last five years and can't wait to make many more....here's to the next 100+ sites."
Jordan Yankovich
Jordan Yankovich is starting a new position as Chief AI Officer at Wingstop Restaurants. He joins from Boston Consulting Group, where he spent almost eight and a half years, serving as Partner - North America Engineering Chapter Lead.
"Thrilled to join this incredible team and to help build the world's most AI native restaurant brand," he says.

Our 2025 hall of fame entrants were revealed during a sold out event which took place at The HAC on 16th October and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson.
In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “This is the awards’ fifth year as a physical event. We started off with just 30 people at the South Place Hotel not far from here, then moved to London Bridge Hotel, then The Barbican, and last year RIBA’s HQ in the West End.”
“But I’m conscious of the fact that, to quote the legend that is Taylor Swift, You’re only as hot as your last hit, baby. So, this year we’ve moved to our biggest venue yet, and also pulled in our largest number of entries to date and broken attendance records.”
He added: “This year’s submissions have without doubt been our best yet. To quote one of the judges: The examples of innovative developments across both traditional and digital retail spaces were truly remarkable.”
