Cybersecurity company Huskeys announces $27 million Series A led by Blackstone Innovations Investments

Huskeys has landed a $27 million Series A led by Blackstone Innovations Investments, bringing the company’s total funding raised to date to $35 million, following an $8 million seed round. Other investors in the round included Merlin Ventures, Skinos Ventures, Zscaler Ventures, Okta Ventures, Bright Pixel Capital, and SV Angel, as well as individuals including WAF and CAPTCHA inventor Eran Reshef and executives from organisations including Palo Alto Networks, Cloudflare, Check Point, AWS, Google, Microsoft, and Intel.

Its customer base includes the likes of TikTok, LEGOLAND, Ro, Blackstone, and Hugging Face, with Huskeys currently analysing more than a trillion web requests and thousands of network configurations every day across organisations worldwide.

“The way organisations secure internet facing applications is fundamentally changing. AI driven traffic and increasingly fragmented edge environments require a new approach to security management,” says Adam Fletcher, Chief Information Security Officer at Blackstone. “Huskeys has built a platform designed to operate at enterprise scale while advancing a new category for the modern network edge. We believe the company is well positioned to redefine how organisations manage edge security, and we’re excited to support Huskeys as they continue to develop their product in this important category.”

"We founded Huskeys because security teams are being asked to protect increasingly complex edge environments with legacy tools that were never designed to work together or to address the challenges of the new AI era," says Itai Gafni, CEO and Co-Founder at Huskeys. "Every business today runs through its network edge - that's where your customers, your revenue, and your threats all meet, yet for most organisations, that edge works against them instead of for them.”

“As AI transforms both legitimate traffic and cyberattacks, organisations need an intelligence layer that continuously understands what’s happening across the edge and adapts security in real time. Our goal is to make the network finally work for the business, not against it. That’s the category we’re building.”

2026 RTIH Innovation Awards

AI will be a key focus area at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards.

The awards are now open for entries and celebrate global retail technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.

Our winners will be revealed at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards Ceremony, taking place at The HAC in Central London on Wednesday, 4th November.

Check out our 2025 winners here.

Our 2025 hall of fame entrants were revealed during a sold out event which took place at The HAC on 16th October and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson.

In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “This is the awards’ fifth year as a physical event. We started off with just 30 people at the South Place Hotel not far from here, then moved to London Bridge Hotel, then The Barbican, and last year RIBA’s HQ in the West End.”

“But I’m conscious of the fact that, to quote the legend that is Taylor Swift, You’re only as hot as your last hit, baby. So, this year we’ve moved to our biggest venue yet, and also pulled in our largest number of entries to date and broken attendance records.”

He added: “This year’s submissions have without doubt been our best yet. To quote one of the judges: The examples of innovative developments across both traditional and digital retail spaces were truly remarkable.”

Congratulations to our winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Tiff Stevenson, and all those who attended our 2025 gathering.
