Equestrian brand LeMieux takes wraps off peer-to-peer resale platform within its mobile app

LeMieux has launched ReRide, a new peer-to-peer resale platform launching exclusively within the retailer's Insiders app, designed to bring its community together while giving quality products a longer life.

A spokesperson says: "By keeping well made products in use for longer, we’re helping reduce waste, encourage more conscious purchasing and create a marketplace where great kit continues its journey with another rider. ReRide is also a destination for collectors and long time LeMieux fans. Whether you’re searching for a discontinued colour, replacing a well loved favourite or completing a matching set from a previous season, ReRide makes it easier to discover those harder to find pieces that are no longer available to buy new."

They add: "Most importantly, ReRide has been created for the LeMieux community. It’s a place where riders can connect directly with one another, share trusted products and help fellow equestrians enjoy the quality and performance of LeMieux for years to come."

Mobile first

Last year, LeMieux announced the launch of its first ever mobile app, combining a points-based rewards programme, an interactive community hub, and what was pitched as a first of its kind equestrian events calendar.

Members can earn rosettes by completing challenges within the app’s community platform - unlocking exclusive rewards, earn coins, and level ups as they go. These points give users access to members only benefits, limited edition products and collaborations, invitations to exclusive Q&A sessions with top riders and influencers, and the chance to join product testing panels and give feedback on future design.

The community platform, meanwhile, offers chatrooms where equestrians can share their passion for horses, seek advice, and support one another. Users can also explore a shoppable gallery of tagged LeMieux looks for outfit inspiration, featuring real riders and friends of the brand from around the world.

Riders in the UK and US can enter a date and location to instantly discover local competitions and events near them.

“We’ve always known how strong and vibrant our community is. This app is our way of bringing everyone together - to listen to them, and to give them a place where they can truly be part of the brand,” says Dan Mahoney, CEO at LeMieux.

2026 RTIH Innovation Awards

Mobile retail will be a key focus area at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards.

The awards are now open for entries and celebrate global retail technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.

Our winners will be revealed at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards Ceremony, taking place at The HAC in Central London on Wednesday, 4th November.

Check out our 2025 winners here.

Our 2025 hall of fame entrants were revealed during a sold out event which took place at The HAC on 16th October and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson.

In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “This is the awards’ fifth year as a physical event. We started off with just 30 people at the South Place Hotel not far from here, then moved to London Bridge Hotel, then The Barbican, and last year RIBA’s HQ in the West End.”

“But I’m conscious of the fact that, to quote the legend that is Taylor Swift, You’re only as hot as your last hit, baby. So, this year we’ve moved to our biggest venue yet, and also pulled in our largest number of entries to date and broken attendance records.”

He added: “This year’s submissions have without doubt been our best yet. To quote one of the judges: The examples of innovative developments across both traditional and digital retail spaces were truly remarkable.”

Congratulations to our winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Tiff Stevenson, and all those who attended our 2025 gathering.
