lifestyle and fragrance brand Jo Malone London gets physical in Northern Ireland with Belfast store

Victoria Square, a retail and leisure destination in Belfast, reports that Jo Malone London will be opening its first standalone location at the centre, representing the brand’s only dedicated store in Northern Ireland.

It will take 3,402 sq ft, and will offer its signature range of luxury fragrances, home scents, candles, bath and body essentials, and gifts. The new space is due to open on 1st December.

Julie King, Senior Asset Manager at Commerz Real, comments: “2026 has been a phenomenal year for us, and welcoming Jo Malone London’s first standalone store in Northern Ireland is a fantastic endorsement of the confidence leading brands have in the destination."

"Victoria Square continues to outperform the wider market because of the quality and diversity of our retail offer, the strength of our catchment, and importantly, our ability to provide brands with the right platform to succeed. We are the place to be for leading retailers looking to make a real impact in Northern Ireland, and Jo Malone London will be a great addition.”

Lizzie Brady, Vice President General Manager, Jo Malone London, says: “We are delighted to announce the opening of our new Jo Malone London store in Belfast, relocating to a new home within the iconic Victoria Square. Set in one of the city’s most vibrant destinations, the new store reflects Belfast’s distinctive character and cultural spirit, alongside the craftsmanship, sophistication and timeless elegance at the heart of our brand.

"Celebrated for exquisitely crafted scents and an unrivalled olfactive portfolio, Jo Malone London invites discovery through an inspiring fragrance and gifting experience, complemented by the elevated service synonymous with the brand. We are especially delighted to open our doors in time for the festive season.”

2026 RTIH Innovation Awards

Physical stores will be a key focus area at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards.

The awards are now open for entries and celebrate global retail technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.

Our winners will be revealed at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards Ceremony, taking place at The HAC in Central London on Wednesday, 4th November.

Check out our 2025 winners here.

Our 2025 hall of fame entrants were revealed during a sold out event which took place at The HAC on 16th October and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson.

In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “This is the awards’ fifth year as a physical event. We started off with just 30 people at the South Place Hotel not far from here, then moved to London Bridge Hotel, then The Barbican, and last year RIBA’s HQ in the West End.”

“But I’m conscious of the fact that, to quote the legend that is Taylor Swift, You’re only as hot as your last hit, baby. So, this year we’ve moved to our biggest venue yet, and also pulled in our largest number of entries to date and broken attendance records.”

He added: “This year’s submissions have without doubt been our best yet. To quote one of the judges: The examples of innovative developments across both traditional and digital retail spaces were truly remarkable.”

Congratulations to our winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Tiff Stevenson, and all those who attended our 2025 gathering.
