Healthy Options ramps up RELEX Solutions technology partnership across stores and DCs in Philippines
Healthy Options, a Philippines’ retailer of natural and organic products, has expanded its use of RELEX Solutions’ platform, adding price optimisation, fresh optimisation, and pick to zero capabilities across its stores and distribution centres. The implementation is being delivered in partnership with Genie X.
The retailer first deployed RELEX forecasting and replenishment capabilities in October 2025, consolidating supply chain planning across thousands of SKUs. Healthy Options had been managing pricing through manual, spreadsheet-based processes that made it difficult to react quickly to market shifts.
As the company has grown, so has the complexity of balancing competitive pricing with margin protection and its positioning as a premium quality retailer. Price Optimisation will give Healthy Options access to price elasticity data to support pricing calls that keep the business customer centric without eroding margins.
Fresh Optimisation will support the retailer in reducing waste, improving availability, and ensuring its fresh assortment consistently meets the quality standard customers expect. By running forecasting, replenishment, pricing, and fresh optimisation on a unified AI driven platform, it says it will be able to make more connected decisions across its operations.
“As our business continues to grow, we need tools and capabilities to respond to the market with greater speed and confidence,” says Romy Sia, Managing Director at Healthy Options. “Expanding our partnership with RELEX enables us to make smarter, data driven commercial decisions while staying true to what sets Healthy Options apart as a retailer: offering our customers the highest quality products while delivering exceptional shopping experience."
“Retailers in this market move fast, and pricing decisions that take days instead of hours create real commercial risk,” says John Boe, Senior Director at Genie X. “Working with RELEX, we’re helping Healthy Options put the right data in front of the right people so every pricing call is grounded in what customers want and what the business needs.”
“Healthy Options saw strong results from their initial implementation and moved quickly to bring more of their commercial operations onto the platform,” says Rod Talbot, VP APAC at RELEX Solutions. “This is the first fresh optimisation deployment we have delivered in the Philippines, and it reflects the growing confidence retailers in this market have in AI driven planning as a real commercial advantage.”
So hot right now
RELEX Solutions is included in RTIH’s first ever Retail Technology Hot 100 List. Launching in August, this sees us bringing you the hottest companies whose solutions and systems are helping drive the retail sector forward.
Our Founder and Editor, Scott Thompson, drew up a list of 150 companies that had consistently been on his radar over the past 12 months whilst bringing our community the latest retail tech news and views that matter. These companies operate across the omnichannel retail landscape (stores, online, mobile, supply chain, payments etc).
Our judging panel, including Vineta Bajaj, Group CFO, Holland & Barrett, Dan McGrath, JD Group Customer Operations, JD Sports, Dr. Astha Purohit, Director of Product Management, Customer Data and Identity, Walmart, and Paula Bobbett, Chief Data and Digital Officer, Boots, provided feedback on those who have the most innovative, forward thinking technology offerings and are also best addressing retailers' current challenges, painpoints, and opportunities.
The judges used the following framework when making their picks:
1. Retailer problem fit - how meaningful, strategic, and widely felt the retailer pain being addressed is.
2. Production traction in retail (2025–2026) - real named retailer deployments, pilots.
3. Innovation and defensibility - genuine technical novelty paired with a defensible competitive position.
And there was also a public vote, with thousands of members of our community of retail tech enthusiasts getting involved. Thanks to all those who took part! Based on the judging panel's feedback and the public vote, we then drew up our first ever RTIH Retail Technology Hot 100.
So, without further ado, here are the 100 hottest global retail technology ventures right now. Drum roll, please…
