Steven King departs Kurt Geiger for Seasalt
Steven King has left Kurt Geiger, where he served as Head of Technology, and is set to join Seasalt this month.
King worked at Kurt Geiger for seven years and prior to that spent nearly 20 years at Travis Perkins, where he held various positions, including IT Development Manager. He is taking on the role of Director of Technology at Seasalt.
“Thank you to my team past and present for everything that you achieved, including getting beers to me on my last day in time for our BYOB Zoom call. Another well planned and executed delivery from Malcolm Harvey,” he said in a LinkedIn post.
He went on to list a number of highlights, including the launch of Kurt Geiger in the USA, going full mobile PoS with Aptos Retail and watching his first Kurt Geiger Tech apprentices grow and flourish.
“A final special thank you to Andy Archer, Tom Griffin, Simon Buxton, Michael Zoidis, Adam Bidwell, James Whitham and Marie Vidler for doing an exceptional job of digitising the in-store experience at KG and helping to massively exceed everyone’s expectations on project ROI,” King concluded.
