Costco rolls out new delivery options

Costco has launched CostcoGrocery, a service providing two-day delivery on around 500 non-perishable items. Delivery is free for online orders over $75. Meanwhile, another offering, via a partnership with Instacart, at 376 stores in the US will give customers the choice of approximately 1,700 items, including fresh groceries, with the option of same day delivery.

The move sees the membership-based chain going head to head with both Amazon.com, which recently completed its $13.6 billion purchase of Whole Foods Market, and Walmart.
