Louis Vuitton has launched a chatbot on Facebook Messenger for US clients. It’s powered by mode.ai tech and features include the ability to search the brand’s online catalogue and get tips for product maintenance.
The move is part of owner LVMH’s efforts to ramp up its digital strategy, which has included new multi-brand e-commerce sites for both its fashion and beverage divisions, and the roll-out of Louis Vuitton’s first e-commerce site in China.
“Chatbots are now part of the customer journey and we want to deliver the best experience in that respect. We’ve partnered with mode.ai because of the combination of their in-depth knowledge of artificial intelligence, and their pragmatic approach to solving business issues,” says Bruno Guilbot, Head of Data Services at Louis Vuitton.
