Jet.com boss ready for a change

Liza Landsman, President at Jet.com, which Walmart acquired for $3.3 billion in 2016, is leaving the company, sources have told Recode.

Landsman joined the e-commerce venture in 2015 as Chief Customer Officer. Shortly after Walmart completed its acquisition of Jet.com, she took on the role of President when founder Marc Lore moved up to oversee Walmart’s e-commerce operations in the US. But Landsman has now opted for a new role at another company (the name of which is currently unknown).

According to Recode: “Landsman is said to have been looking for a change after three years of working at the frenetic pace of one of the fastest-moving young e-commerce companies. She is expected to depart Jet in the next two months or so.”

No news thus far as to who Walmart will bring in as a replacement.
