Amazon patents fashion-focused solution

Amazon has filed a patent for a blended-reality mirror which uses virtual reality technology to show how a user would look in an outfit without needing to try it on.

Using mirrors, screens, displays, projectors and cameras, this will combine a person's likeness with virtual images and present a blended-reality reflection that shows them in a variety of background settings and wearing outfits.

It builds on Amazon Echo Look which uses artificial intelligence to help you choose what to wear.
