HubBox talks Click & Collect progress and next steps

UK startup HubBox says that it is on track to become the UK’s largest Click & Collect point network by the end of the year.

In an interview with RTIH, Sam Jarvis, Co-founder and CEO, notes that the venture currently boasts over 4,000 Collect Points. By peak 2018, there will be one within 1km of 92% of the UK’s urban population.

He adds that, in the last six months, 120 retailers in the UK have signed up to HubBox. “Some of our greatest feedback has come from retailers for whom Click & Collect had previously been inaccessible, whether due to expensive development costs or the complications of adding or switching couriers,” he says. “Sometimes retailers actually find it hard to understand that using HubBox means literally making no changes to their fulfilment process.”

“Given the reach that our network now offers, the next step for us is developing our software solution for a returns product (it’s also one of the most frequent requests we hear from retailers),” Jarvis comments. “We’re in development and will be launching pre-peak this year.”
