Costco announces Apple Pay roll-out

Membership-only wholesale retailer Costco reports that its 750 warehouses across the US now accept Apple Pay, as well as Google Pay and Samsung Pay. 

The roll-out follows a trial at a handful of locations, completed earlier this month. The retailer also plans to include support at its gas stations.

Costco joins a growing list of Apple Pay adoptees Stateside, with several other US retail chains recently announcing plans to get onboard. Both CVS and 7-Eleven were unveiled during Apple's quarterly results in July.
