Looker announces data privacy and ethics hire

Data platform venture, Looker, has brought in Barbara Lawler as Chief Privacy and Data Ethics Officer.

She previously served as Chief Privacy Officer for Intuit and the Hewlett-Packard Company and also founded Digital Stewardship Strategies where she guided organisations in setting strategies to implement ethical approaches to privacy and digital stewardship, focusing on machine learning and artificial intelligence applications.
