Go south: Amazon Go UK launch speculation mounts
Amazon is planning to launch its Amazon Go stores across the south of England, according to documents seen by the Daily Mail.
The e-commerce giant issued a request for retail estate brokers in October and selected a representative later the same month, the documents suggest. It is not known whether an agreement has been signed, but Amazon is said to be eyeing Surrey, Kent, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Essex and Middlesex.
“We do not comment on rumour and speculation,” an Amazon spokesperson told RTIH.
