jisp and SFD Systems in digital store experience tie up

Frictionless shopping startup jisp has announced a partnership with SFD Systems.

Retailers can now display video adverts, promotional information and accurate digital pricing through the latter’s full-colour shelf edge LCD screens. Shoppers can then use the jisp app to tap NFC-enabled shelves to get instant product information as well as pay for the product without having to queue or take a basket to a physical till.
