McGregor returns and enlists Detego for RFID project
Dutch fashion brand McGregor is making a fresh start after announcing bankruptcy.
This kicked off with an e-commerce store, followed by physical stores and wholesale. As part of this, it has implemented Detego’s RFID software platform.
McGregor began using the technology in February, initially rolling it out within its factories, outlets and distribution centres to satisfy web order fulfilment. As it re-establishes its bricks and mortar presence, it is now making use of Detego’s ‘smart shield’ feature.
McGregor’s VP of Digital and Omnichannel, Jurryt van Arend, comments: “While we are still implementing RFID, we already see stock accuracy has improved dramatically. This is important not only for our online business but also for in-store replenishment improvements. New features to come are currently being investigated but may likely relate to supply chain improvements and improving customer experience.”
