JD.com debuts 24 hour 7FRESH LIFE store in Beijing

Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com’s 7FRESH supermarket chain has opened its first 24/7 FRESH LIFE store.

Situated in in Beijing, this features a location-based mobile app for 30 minute delivery within a 1.5 km radius.

“With our deep understanding of consumers and our strong supply chain providing global and local fresh produce and mealtime solutions, 7FRESH has become a trusted source for consumers buying fresh food offline,” says Jonathan Wang, Head of 7FRESH at JD.com.

Supply chain innovation

JD.com recently emerged triumphant in the Supply Chain Innovation category at the first ever RTIH Innovation Awards.

This year, it launched what is pitched as China’s first 5G-powered smart logistics park in Beijing, just ahead of Singles’ Day.
