Sainsbury's SmartShop heads to the seaside

Sainsbury’s SmartShop offering has landed at the retailer’s Sedlescombe Road, St. Leonards-On-Sea store.

Shoppers can download an app and use their mobiles or grab a handset to scan and bag as they go, paying at a dedicated SmartShop checkout.

Last year, Sainsbury’s tested out the service at its Local store in Clapham North, London. Further info on that here.
