Parents are talking PANTS, thanks to Matalan
Matalan has thrown its weight behind the NSPCC’s PANTS campaign, which helps parents talk to their children about staying safe from sexual abuse.
Talk PANTS has been running since 2013. Matalan will support the cause by sharing information about it and mascot, the dinosaur Pantosaurus, across its media channels. An exclusive Pantosaurus keyring is also on sale in its stores for £1.50, with all of the profits being donated to the NSPCC. Matalan has been a corporate partner of the charity since 2004 and in that time has raised more than £10 million.
Matalan’s CEO Jason Hargreaves says: “Supporting the NSPCC is something that is an incredibly important part of life at Matalan, with colleagues taking part in all sorts of fundraisers all year round. We are proud to be able to take our partnership to the next level in raising awareness of NSPCC’s important PANTS campaign. We also know that this is a cause that is close to our customers’ hearts and they will be keen to support this campaign along with us.”
