Mood Media unveils new Advanced Solutions Group division
In-store media solutions venture, Mood Media, has launched a new offshoot called Advanced Solutions Group and announced two key hires. Joining the London HQ is Jonathan Wharrad, who is taking on the role of Global Vice President, while Alexandre Gervais will lead Sales and Business Development from Mood Media’s Paris office.
The Advanced Solutions Group builds on Mood’s existing offerings in sight, sound, scent, social (mobile) and system solutions. Under Wharrad’s helm, the new team will develop interactive and sensory experiences for clients with a focus on the luxury retail, banking, insurance and automotive sectors.
Wharrad previously worked at Grassfish and Moki and has also co-founded and is executive director of a number of tech startups and gamification platforms. “This is an incredible opportunity to take Mood’s existing offering to the next level and build relationships with some of the biggest brands across the globe. Our aim is to help brick and mortar retailers face the ever-evolving future of CX and engagement, with a focus on offering brand value in-store in a way that is genuinely scalable,” he says.
Gervais, meanwhile, has spent time at French retail and design agencies such as Malherbe Paris and Market Value. “I am delighted to be joining a company that is already seen as a market leader in its field,” he says. “The creation of the new team presents a unique opportunity to cement Mood’s expertise in audio-visual customer experiences.”
