Farmstead announces Kraft Heinz tie up

US online retailer, Farmstead, has agreed its first ever partnership with a CPG company, enabling it to offer Kraft Heinz products to its customers.

“The partnership immediately increases our overall curated inventory by about 5%, with well-known staples such as Heinz Ketchup, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, JELL-O and Kraft Mac & Cheese, while setting the stage for Farmstead’s rapid nationwide expansion of its 35-minute delivery online grocery model in 2019,” it says in a statement.

“Our research shows that most families go to multiple grocery stores to find everything they need within their budget,” says Pradeep Elankumaran, Founder and CEO of Farmstead. “Our goal is to be the only grocer a household needs - with this Kraft Heinz partnership, we’re now able to source more mainstream grocery items. Our customers can still get the great locally sourced produce they are accustomed to from Farmstead, plus the national brand staples they also want, at prices lower than local supermarket prices, delivered for free.”
