A.S. Watson loyalty programme goes international

A.S. Watson has switched on its Watsons One Pass loyalty offering in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.

This means that loyalty club members now only need to use one card when travelling to other Asian countries. A.S. Watson Group is currently operating Watsons stores in all 11 cities in the Greater Bay Area. One Pass will launch in over 660 stores in the region, and plans are afoot to expand to other Asian markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan and Indonesia.

Malina Ngai, Group Chief Operating Officer at A.S. Watson Group, says: “Watsons has been the number one pharmacy/drugstore brand in Asia for 10 consecutive years with over 90 million loyalty club members, and the majority of them are frequent travellers. We operate in many popular travel destinations worldwide, and our customers tell us that they would like to shop in Watsons when overseas. Therefore, it is logical that our loyalty programme goes international.”
