Asda claims UK Click and Collect first
Asda has launched a Click & Collect service that allows shoppers to pick up their online orders in under an hour.
The Express Click and Collect offering will be rolled out over the coming months following a trial last year at stores in Killingbeck and Middleton. It costs £3 per order, with no minimum or maximum order value.
Asda says that the option, which it labels “a first for a UK supermarket”, is aimed at shoppers who forget an essential item after the big shop or need last minute dinner ingredients”.
Looking to the future of retail tech
