Six stand out retail tech funding rounds in 2020
RTIH rounds up the retail technology ventures who have been making waves with major investments.
1. Soft Robotics
Soft Robotics has closed a Series B funding round, raising $23 million co-led by Calibrate Ventures and Material Impact and including existing backers Honeywell, Hyperplane, Scale, Tekfen Ventures and Yamaha.
2. AppsFlyer
AppsFlyer has announced a $210 million Series D round led by General Atlantic.
3. IMAGR
New Zealand automated checkout startup IMAGR has raised $9.5 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Toshiba Tec Corporation.
4. Proxyclick
Cloud-based visitor management platform provider, Proxyclick, has completed a $15 million Series B funding round, led by Five Elms Capital with participation from Series A investor JOIN Capital.
5. Magway
British e-commerce delivery startup Magway has exceeded an initial £750,000 crowdfunding target.
The company has crossed through the £1 million mark on Crowdcube and has to date attracted over 1,700 investors willing to back its underground online retail delivery network.
6. Bond
US online delivery startup Bond has bagged $15 million from Lightspeed Venture Partners, MizMaa Ventures and TLV Partners.
