Juniper Research reveals retail tech innovation awards winners

Juniper Research has announced the 2020 winners of the Future Digital Awards for Fintech & Payments.

This recognises the most impactful products and services operating across such areas as fraud and security and retail and payments.

In terms of the latter, the Bolt checkout experience platform was named retail innovation of the year. Best in-store technology went to Sleek, with Sberbank’s Take&Go solution a runner up. Whilst Izicap snagged best digital loyalty solution, with recognition also going to Mobilize.

In the payments innovation section, meanwhile, PayPal picked up the best QR code payment offering award. And Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) took home the digital wallet and IoT payment innovation gongs for its wearables solution.

Jukka Yliuntinen, Head of Digital Solutions at G+D, says: ‘Having Juniper Research, an industry influencer, presenting us with not only one but two Platinum Awards recognises our efforts in innovating the way people pay, and confirms how future-proof G+D’s digital payment solutions are.”

“Regardless from factor, with our state-of-the-art solutions we offer secure and convenient digital payments that create confidence.”
