RetailEXPO 2021 cancelled as coronavirus hits hard
Reed Exhibitions has announced that the London-based RetailEXPO exhibition/conference will not take place in 2021 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The company also pulled the 2020 event earlier this year.
In a tweet, Director of RetailEXPO, Matt Bradley, described the move as “without doubt one of my saddest days”.
Without doubt today has been one of my saddest days. Huge thank you to everyone who made the last 10 years so rewarding and enjoyable. It’s been an absolute pleasure. @TheRetailEXPO would never of happened without you. Official statement below. MB x https://t.co/FLlz6KNy64

In an online statement, Reed Exhibitions said: “Both the UK live events and retail industries are in uncertain positions and whilst we are confident that they will return in due course, a combination of these factors have lead us to this decision.”
It added: “We have made this announcement at an early stage to give clarity to all of our partners as they continue to navigate this global pandemic. RetailEXPO is one of our valued brands and we will continue to stay close to and monitor the industry as the situation becomes clearer over the coming months.”
