Westfield London teams with Laura Whitmore for A Very Rental Christmas

Westfield London has opened the doors to what is pitched as the world’s first store where you can rent everything you need for Christmas.

A Very Rental Christmas is curated by TV presenter, Laura Whitmore.

It will be open until 13th December and offer the likes of eco-friendly potted Christmas trees, a range of decorative lights, traditional and modern decorations and tableware.

All proceeds from the pop-up store will go towards the centre’s charity partner, Save the Children who will also be providing seasonal sweaters to rent for their Christmas Jumper Day campaign.

A Very Rental Christmas will launch online on the Westfield London website from today. Visitors can book a virtual consultation with a home stylist, browse and rent the top interior trends of 2020 and also use a Click and Collect service.

The store will then open its doors in line with government guidelines on Thursday, 3rd so customers can browse in person.

Scott Parsons, Managing Director UK & Italy at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, comments: “Westfield London launched the UK’s first physical fashion rental store in 2017. The trend has escalated since then, with recent our How We Shop research revealing the appetite for Christmas rental amongst consumers.”

“We’re always looking at ways to innovate the shopping experience and create unique ways to deliver what our customers want.”

“Whether it is to support sustainable products and services, catch up on lost shopping days in November or to allow shoppers to trial products without having to store them for the rest of the year, A Very Rental Christmas Store is sure to be a huge hit this year,” he concludes.
