Lady Gaga says yes to ‘badass’ Klarna, Bea Åkerlund ring
Earlier this week, we reported that buy now, pay later specialist Klarna and fashion activist and celebrity stylist Bea Åkerlund had released a pair of limited edition, genderless marriage proposal rings - the Knight Finger and Unification. And it has now emerged that they’ve got a big fan in American singer, songwriter and actress Lady Gaga.
“Celebrating Valentine’s Day wearing this badass ring designed by my friend @BAkerlund for @klarna. As we celebrate love today, I put this ring on my own finger as a sign of my love for myself and for my fans - & a reminder that we are all born superstars,” she tweeted.
Both rings are made of gold vermeil. Lady Gaga opted for the Knight Finger, which features 246 rose pink and four crystal stones in pavé settings whilst the Unification ring features a single crystal stone. Priced at $950 (Knight Ring) and $500 (Unification), they are available on hbx.com as part of an exclusive partnership with HYPEBEAST. For more information visit here.
All proceeds from the sale of the rings will go to not-for-profit organisation Dress for Success.
Klarna CMO, David Sandström, comments: “The Knight Finger ring was created as a symbol to enable everyone to express love on their terms to whom they wish, just like our millions of shoppers can get what they love every day with Klarna.”
