3. Etsy wraps two year Google Cloud project
Etsy has completed its migration to Google Cloud. It began the project in 2018 and has since moved 5.5 petabytes of data from 2,000 on-premise servers.
4. Self-ordering kiosks all the rage at quick service restaurants
The market for self-ordering kiosks is booming, with various restaurant operators deploying the technology. As of June 2019, there were 135,000 installations globally, according to RBR.
5. Swiggy bags major funding
Indian food delivery startup, Swiggy, has snagged $113 million as part of a funding round led by South African conglomerate Naspers.
