Milestone for Ocado Solutions as Groupe Casino CFC begins operations

Two years after breaking ground, Groupe Casino has gone live with its first Ocado Solutions powered customer fulfilment centre (CFC) at Fleury-Mérogis, near Paris. 

The facility is the first international CFC to begin operations for an Ocado Solutions partner.

It is currently dealing with a small number of test orders, and will expand to fulfil more orders and wider public deliveries in selected areas over the coming months. At capacity, it will handle a turnover of up to €500 million and serve households across the Paris and Hauts de France regions for customers shopping with Casino’s Monoprix brand.

Monoprix has launched a new e-commerce service with the Ocado Smart Platform, Monoprix Plus, which delivered its first order fulfilled through the CFC on Wednesday last week.
