1. Ocado purchases coronavirus test kits for workers
Ocado has bought 100,000 Covid-19 test kits for its grocery packers and delivery drivers.
It has stumped up £1.5 million for these, with 40,000 already delivered and a further 60,000 to come.
2. WHSmith partners with Sainsbury's to boost hospital stores offering
WHSmith has announced that 80 of its hospital stores across the UK will be increasing their grocery ranges, in collaboration with Sainsbury’s, to support NHS staff on the coronavirus frontline.

Tesco has urged shoppers to ‘think before they click’ and shop in-store whenever possible.
4. Coronavirus outbreak sees Iceland exec take swipe at MPs and councils
Iceland’s Director of Corporate Affairs has hit out at coronavirus point scoring MPs and councils.
5. McDonald's UK stores will not be re-opening next week
McDonald’s UK has thrown shade at the people behind an April Fools’ tweet that stated the fast food giant would re-open its restaurants next week.
