Domino’s Pizza goes on Stateside hiring spree

Domino’s Pizza is looking to hire about 20,000 new team members in the US.

Job openings include delivery drivers, customer service representatives, managers and assistant managers. The retailer's supply chain centres are also on the hunt for production and warehouse team members, as well as CDL drivers.

“It’s a privilege to be able to feed families across the country and provide them with a small sense of normalcy during the coronavirus pandemic,” says Tom Curtis, Domino’s Executive Vice President of Operations and Support.

“The health and safety of the brand’s customers and store team members is our top priority, and because of that, we are continuing to offer contactless delivery and carryout, as well as carside delivery.”

He adds: “We realise that these are tough times, and not only do we want to maintain strong service levels, but we also want to provide opportunities to those who have lost their jobs or are facing reduced hours. Domino’s stores offer flexible work options, which include part-time and full-time opportunities."

Movie mania

Domino’s recently launched a Homemade Film Festival contest.

US customers are being invited to submit a home movie that showcases their love of the retailer for the chance to win free pizza for a year.

It's possible to enter through to 21st August and you can do so here. Customers can visit this site to vote for their favourite submission between 7th-11th September.

The Homemade Film Festival was inspired by the brand’s latest lo-fi TV spot, which was filmed with an iPhone and can be viewed below.
