Yango Deli UK offers Londoners Christmas tree delivery within 15 minutes

Yango Deli UK, the rapid grocery delivery arm of Russian tech giant Yandex, is offering Christmas trees along with its usual mix of groceries and household staples.

The 5ft Norway spruce trees will be delivered within 15 minutes.

They are supplied by Pines and Needles, which was founded by brothers Josh and Sam Lyle in Scotland and made headlines when they provided a tree for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2016.

“Ultrafast e-grocery companies are often thought of as snacks and drinks corner shops of the post-Covid era, but we are striving to be more than that by giving people back their time, which they would have otherwise spent doing large supermarket trips,” says Evgeny Chernikov, General Manager at Yango Deli UK.

“This holiday season, we want Londoners to spend time with their loved ones and do what they enjoy, while we take care of getting them whatever they need for the celebrations, including beautiful Christmas trees.”

Yango Deli has an assortment of around 2,500 products, delivered from dark stores, located in Bethnal Green, Battersea, Bermondsey and Acton.

Christmas trees will be available to order via the venture’s app while supplies last, along with a water holding Christmas stand from Pines and Needles.

Also this festive season, Yango Deli will deliver surprise gifts, ranging from chocolates to packs of Christmas cards with every order. The Yango Deli Advent will take place from 1st to 24th December.
