UK pureplay AO grows logistics base in north west

Online electricals retailer AO has opened its fourth warehouse in Crewe, UK, creating over 80 new jobs and adding over 300,000 sqft of new distribution space to its logistics network.

AO Logistics will occupy the Crewe 305 site at Crewe Commercial Park from November. It will house over 200,000 appliances.

During the last 18 months, AO has increased its warehousing capacity by over 80%.

It is also currently recruiting employed drivers nationwide, with over 100 logistics vacancies available, including HGV drivers, 7.5t delivery drivers and warehouse operatives.
