Go Instore boosts live video solutions platform
Go Instore has added two new services to its live video offering: Broadcast_LIVE and Appointments.
Broadcast_LIVE provides retailers with a live video broadcast stream.
The broadcasts, which can be hosted on both a brand’s website and social media channels, support product demonstrations and fully staged virtual product launches.
The solutions comes with an interactive Q&A feature that gives consumers the ability to engage directly with in-store experts.

“With one in six shoppers adding to basket after a one-to-many session, our service will help further improve the digital experience and increase online revenues.”
“The technology is easy to use, and streams can be hosted via the mobile app on a shopfloor or using the desktop version with external cameras for professional studio sets.”
Appointments, meanwhile, enables consumers to book two-way personalised video calls with in-store experts at a time of their convenience.
It can either be created and implemented by Go Instore from an end-to-end service or can be designed to integrate with retailers’ existing appointments system.
Hordagoda adds: “Personal shopping experiences are a really important sales channel for retailers. They empower consumers to make complex purchasing decisions that often involve higher value items and can create positive sentiment for brands from consumers.”
