Carted bags $10 million for universal commerce push
E-commerce startup Carted has received $10 million in seed funding led by Blackbird Ventures.
Tidal Ventures, Grok Ventures, and TEN13 also took part.
Founded in 2020, Carted is building an API that allows developers and creators to build a checkout anywhere online.
It is currently in private beta mode.

Founder Mike Angell is also co-founder of Vop.
The venture’s app allows retailers and brands to put their TikTok feed directly onto their Shopify store, as well as appear on product pages.
They can also pull videos from any hashtags and other influencers who are using/wearing their products.
Last year, Vop brought in David Wurtz as an investor and advisor.
“David brings endless experience, insights and data. As a co-founder of Google Drive and Google Fonts plus an early stage Shopify advisor we are so lucky to have him as part of the team,” Angell commented.
